Robin and I recently celebrated our 4th Anniversary on Septemaber 30th. We made a dear with eachother when we got married that we would always go do something special and out of the ordinary for our anniversary, and we would take turns planning each year. The first year we stayed in Salt Lake and went to the Circus. The second year we went to Park City, Last year we went to Yellowstone and Island Park. However when this year rolled it was Robin's turn to plan the anniversary extravaganza. I kept bothering him about what we were going to do and he kept telling me we don't have enough money to go anywhere special so we were just going to Grouse Creek. I belly ached about this for about two weeks. There was nothing special about going to Grouse Creek we go there just about every other weekend.
The day before we left I quickly ran to the store to find Robin an anniversay gift. Since Robin was being so nuts about money I thought well probably better not spend to much on this ocasion. So, I setteled on a measly little pocket knife. He lost his a while back so I thought this would be perfect. So the big day comes, we drive out to Grouse Creek. The whole way out Robin is gitty as a school girl. I kept asking him what was going on and he said "Oh I just can't wait to give you your preasent". I am thinking that he must have gotten me something for Scrapbooking. I have been working on getting a little area set up in the spare room. I started to get pretty nervous about what I got, because I know he would not be so excited over something so small. When we stopped at Walmart we walked back into the hunting section to get clay peigeons Robing noticed some gun cases on sale. I told him that he should pick one out as part of his anniversary gift. Excited Rob starts gong through them. "Should i get the one with a long barrel or a short barrel?" He kept asking me. I replied "Well that Obvious you dont' have any guns for a short barrel case DuH." He finally setteled on a hard plastic gun case and we went on our way. We finally arrive in Grouse and get everything in from the car and here comes Robin into the living room with his new Gun case in tow. "Happy Anniversary HOneY" and he sets the gun case in my lap. I of course laugh at the wrapping job, only because I was planning to do the same thing. Wrapping his knife inside of the gun case. So I open the Gun case and inside is not something for scraping it is a 12 Gage, short barrel, Shot gun, now nick named the 'hotty shotty'. I was very surprised. I mentioned on several ocasions that I wanted a shot gun of my own. I didn't know he was acutally listening. However now I was down to only giving a knife because the gun case became part of my gift. Long story short, we had a great anniversary. We drove into Wendover one day for the fun of it to check out their air field museum and have dinner. That was fun one time, but we are pretty sure that we will never go back. We then spent the wrest of our four day weekend bummin around Grouse Creek here are some of th highlights of our 4th Anniversay. Thanks for an awesome time Robin. I love you and have loved spending four wonderful years with you.

This is a video of the first time I shot my new gun. When I shoot Robin's gun I can usually hit about 1 out of 3. THis time I hit my target the first time, and I only missed 3 out of about 20 that I shot. I don't know what changed but suddenly I can actully shoot pretty good.
