Yesterday we had a great idea of hiking up to the Baker mines on the Wellsville mountain range. That was a mistake! We started at Sherwood hills resort on the Cache county side and hiked up and over the Wellsvilles and down the other side where the Mines were located. Belive it or not going down the Box Elder county side was worse then climbing the Cache County side. The Box Elder Side is STEEP!! I had several near death experiences. There were Rock falls, Dehydration, rattle snake, Heat stroke, busted up ankle, pure body exhaustion and being whacked to death by scrub oak and undergrowth. I was able to capture one of these near death experiences on video. In the video we were hiking up a steep chunk of Mt. AGAIN! and Chucky the top hiker in white pants slips and accidentally kicks down a rock. Well me with my cat like/ninja reflexes I dove to the right avoiding death. It took us about twelve and a half hours to complete our journey. It took us all day!

We had to have our BUTTS in the air to make it to the top on this hike. It was incredibly steep, alot worse than I thought it was!

From Left to Right, Mt. Goat Chucky Kimber, Holes in my pants Kimmy Kimber and last but not least I wanna soak my feet in cold water Colt Schofield.

The house to the right of the semi trailers with the white roofing was our end goal. That is our uncles house, doesn't look all that big from up here!

This is one of the miners cable cars that they hauled the silver ore down the mt. with.

This is an old Hotel WAY IN THE HECK UP THE MOUNTAIN be the mine that the miners would stay in.

This is a cellar that was attacked to the hotel, it was perplexing to us because they had poured cement up there! That was a project!

This is us taking a break at the summit. Chucky was calling a buddy on his Hammy radio, while the rest of us sat and licked our wounds.

What a view these old boys had! This is just out side the mine looking out over the valley.
